Just saying

Part of me doesn't even want to say this, but I think I should. If you are a Christian, or indeed a person with a coherent residual sense of morality, then there is no possible way any policy, however dearly loved and hoped for, can outweigh the fact that 4000 people are killed everyday in this country in a legal way.

If you voted for a pro-choice candidate, like it or not, you are complicit in this. Think, Christians, think! This is death, this is murder. You cannot rationalize it away, and it is unjust. Whatever economic injustice exists in our country, the real death of 4000 innocents each day cries out like the blood of Abel. Do not think that God does not hear it.

Whatever you do or do not like about the rest of their policies, remember that.

I get that abortion is murder of the unborn, but I am not sure why Christians are so upset about it, given that 99.99% of those children were probably predestined to suffer eternal wrath, as is most of the unsaved human race. Except for the lucky few whom god chose to save, those children had little chance, and would be suffering greater pain than that of abortion.

Wow, mike, you should probably study theology a bit more before exposing your ignorance. No offense.

if you don't know the answer, that is ok. the fact is, He only predestines (saves) those He loves -- so not every baby is precious in his sight.

Sorry didn't mean to imply that I didn't know how to answer you. Your understanding of predestination is woefully deficient if you think that it condones or even lessens the seriousness of murder. Perhaps you should seek to understand the doctrine you are misusing. I am sure there are many good sources on the web, but the best place would be direct from the source, that is, the Bible itself. You have grabbed onto one part of the profound truth of God's sovereignty over salvation and misapplied it to the actions of man towards man. Anyways, this has the whiff of troll-dom about it, since it has little to do with the main point of this post.
