The rawness of a church focuses on what you're there for...learning from a teacher and worshiping the Lord. The extras of a church can be so distracting as to why you actually gathered as a body. I am definitely a fan of the more simplistic church. And basically agreeing with the rest of you!
At the urging of Bryce, I did a topical Bible study on the local church in college. It was by no means exhaustive, but I did conclude that the local church needs three things: believers committed to each other's growth; leadership; and connection to the Church body as a whole.
Now, if you're talking a local church building, then I agree that places to sit are generally a plus.

Worship, reading of the scriptures, teaching, prayer and fellowship.
I guess you need a place to gather, the rest depends on the culture--what you "need"

Places to sit are superfluous. Also if you memorize the Bible you don't need those either. And order is overrated too, beyond the very basic.

I do agree that food is necessary. or at least preferable...
